Pros

Many great people who are decicated to their job and the company.

Cons

People overworked and treated poorly by management. When accused of doing something wrong, you are automatically guilty to management even if you have proof that you did nothing wrong. Management has no clue about positive motivation in regards to employees. Workers are definitely not treated fairly.

Pros

None. Co-workers were great mostly.

Cons

Terrible benifits, no room for growth, toxic environment and management, unsafe working conditions, machinery was rigged up 99% if the time, zero empathy for employees(had to fight for bereavement leave) harrassment is an encouraged sport at Watlow. Management is completely lost in space somewhere with there heads in the sand. They refuse to listen to complaints and issues brought to them by staff. If your not related to someone or sleeping with someone your treated like dirt! They make promises after promises after promises but never deliver, EVER! You could be there years and be the most skilled person, but they will give a promotion to someone whose only been there a few months. I invested YEARS here, all for nothing.

We appreciate your feedback, Watlow embraces a constructive culture where team members have various platforms to contribute and add value to our operations. Our Hannibal leadership team participates in daily gemba activities, walking the production floor, asking for input and building relationships with team members. In 2019 we added Cultural Engagement Boards to our manufacturing centers to provide a platform for team members to present ideas for process improvements, safety observations, and equipment improvements providing additional line of sight for site leadership team. In regards to career growth, we encourage and equip team members to actively manage their own career path and development. We provide the tools and guidance needed to succeed, such as personal development plans, coaching forward assistance, and career path planning. We also take seriously claims of harassment or unethical behavior in the work place. Please contact our Human Resources office at our Hannibal facility to discuss further.

Pros

The People you work with who are not management or HR are great. Off on weekends. I like doing the work I was doing

Cons

HR are does not do there jobs. I was being stalked by one of the workers for a year before it stopped. This place lies a lot they said i Would be full time in three months and it took a year. then we get to were I feel is the worse part the management They will hiring anyone and in this place you have to past a test but some people don't know how to read a ruler so most management have favorite and are not shy about hiding it. which that lady who was stalking me you know it she a favorite been in HR 20 time in one day and still have a job and for people who want to work her do not work with her she will throw you under a bus which my next con is if you want to get ahead in this place you have to kiss butt. So make sure you don't say anything you don't want spread in this place because a lot of butt kisser also mangement don't know about the job they are doing which is why a lot of people try to be boss in this job. The reason why I left is because the the new managment in my area was a person who want to bark order but knows nothing about watlow and a lot of people didnt like him and dont know how to talk to people and yes I probably could have moved to a new area but why because if management is bad and HR it is just going to get worse so I found a new and better job. My advice to people who are coming out of high school or anywhere else do not limited yourself because this place preys on that and for friends who are still there get something better because if you are a good worker this place is not for you. Lastly if you don't believe me then when you get hired ask around because the people there will let you know like they did for me and tell you to do better.
