In a salaried position, the freedom is refreshing. I was able to take breaks and lunches at more convenient times.

Cons

As a female, you will never amount to anything with that company. Even if you exhibit aboveboard leadership skills, you are still regarded as a nobody without a brain or an opinion.

•Work schedule (Typically 12 days straight) •Dirty/hot work environment •Yearly raises don't compensate for economic inflation •"Buddy" system still very much in place •Not a family friendly career
