Understaffed/3rd shift nightmare

Pros

Friendly associates PTO is great, if you have time to use it. If you ask for PTO time off it’s a issue since no one wants to work overnights

Cons

No breaks No one works on overnights where most of the works is. GM doesn’t schedule properly GM Doesn’t allow the AGM to have an opinion or voice on problem solving GM works from 6am to 2pm Monday through Friday and doesn’t take any time whatsoever to know what is going on with the other shifts. Area managers doesn’t know what is going on because they only come in the morning when there is 8 people working, They should make a visit with the GM on an overnight Friday or Saturday when the deli is 12 orders back and only 2 people to make orders, drinks and coffee, plus cook foods, code, dishes and other tasks such as cleaning all the ovens and a truck delivery on 3rd shift every other day.
