Pros

Good Pay Great Benefits The products Wawa sells are top quality. Getting to know regular customers Time flies by.

Cons

Tiring non stop pace. Inventory Merchandising Managers work 2nd shift and are responsible for entire store.(First shift has 2, sometimes 3 Managers on duty) IMM's responsible to run shift., count inventory, plan-o-grams, putting stock deliveries away (every other night) and more!! I like doing all of this, but can get stressful when trying to help the deli and register associates provide excellent customer service at the same time.

Great Place To Work For Flexibility in Schedule

Pros

This is a very good company to work for. There are a lot of incentives for being employed here, including discounts from other companies and opportunities to invest in the company itself.

Cons

If you are not a people person, this can prove to be a very difficult job. You must be able to handle pressure and think quick on your toes. It is also important to be able to move quickly, as this is a convenience store known for speed and ease of shopping.

Good Company, But Higher Stress than Expected

Pros

Wawa provides some of the best benefits in the industry. The company is doing very well and constantly opening new stores. They are constantly trying to improve processes and keep employees happy. Turn-over is low.

Cons

Sometimes their "improvements" are little off-base. The job is faster-paced than most new hires expect it to be. There are lots of opportunities to move up, but it can be quite competitive. Dealing with the public can be infuriating at times.
