Pros

the benefits are nicer than most companies in retail industry

Cons

the benefits however do not outweigh the low take home when compared to duties required. Still have nightmares about this job 3 years after leaving, the ptsd is real. No work life balance if you attempt to move up within the company as you'll be added to a group text with managers that will be active 24/7. The amount of times I was scheduled off at 10pm and back in at 6am only to have a barrage of texts at 3-4am because of non-emergencies (product outages, call outs) was too hard the count. Management call outs must be covered 100%, so if you're working nights you're stuck doing a 16 hour shift.

Pros

The weekly pay is amazing The bonus check you receive every 4th week of the month after your training can bounce between $200-$2000. You can select your days off 3 weeks in advance. Job opportunities are forever flowing in from various locations.

Cons

Do not expect a break and to be told "Wawa pays breaks so you don't need one." No balance of personal & professional life. Just work....and more work Unproductive work environment. That lovely bonus? It'll be high if you decide to save on the labor cost by shorting your team on some of the shifts. So expect associate burnout, morale depletion, & callouts resulting in you having to stay back to provide support. Which will affect other factors of your store such as reviews, turnover, and cleanliness. Corporate has little to no understanding of the in store challenges and will not hesitate to throw you infant of a bus if need be. This job tends to attract employees who want a job to survive, not grow.

Pros

Cute girls come in often but thats about it

Cons

PPHUCKk wawa. Im forced to stand up at the register for 7.5 hours everytime I’m there. Not only have I asked multiple times to be moved to deli, but I was promised a raise by my former manager after 3 months with the company. Never got my raise, but I did get the email about it months ago. Brought it up to my store manager or whatever, and I was told he would ‘look into it.’ Haven’t heard a thing since. Also, why the phuck am I paying for extra meat and bacon as an employee? I think the bottoms of my feet and my lower back being on fire is well worth a free mother phucking sandwich. Working at wawa is phucking annoying. Watching my deli co workers go talk and phuck around in the back while the store is empty and I have wipe up retarded peoples coffee spills because they miss the damn cup. Such a joke that people can’t wipe up after themselves, or atleast have the heart to tell me. I phucking hate people who come in asking for black and milds, GET YOUR PHUCKING MONEY UP BROKE BOY YOU SHOULDNT HAVE TO PAY CASH AND CARD FOR 2.12. If youre rude to me you get a phat stink eye and no goodbye. Sincerely, go phuck yourself
