Pros

Nice people, might be relaxed, discount on products, fairly flexible scheduling, mindless work that makes time go by. Patient with training and mistakes.

Cons

Mindless work that makes time go by, I personally dreaded going to work, but I am somewhat

Pros

-Great co-workers, in order to handle the daily waking nightmare that is working at wawa, you HAVE to be one of the most patient, understanding, courteous, people on the planet. -They will advance you quickly if you show initiative -Good benefits if you can get them to give you enough hours. -Discount on food while clocked in -free coffee -Lots of performance feedback -Very flexible with scheduling (if you cant work certain days/shifts due to personal obligations, they will work with you)

Cons

The customers make you want to kill yourself. Being a 24 hour convenience store, we deal with people when they're at they're worst. Whether it's pissed people half asleep rushing to work, angry and exhausted just getting out of work, or the obnoxious sloppy bar crowd, late night weirdos and druggies, every single day you WILL meet at least 1 person you want to punch in the face.... but you can't... - Although they are flexible with scheduling, the expect you to be flexible with time. the schedule changes constantly. I work 2nd shift which is supposed to be 3-11, but I frequently get scheduled for half shifts, early shifts, and late shifts, etc. expect a terrible sleep schedule. -They seem to keep us understaffed all the times. With the bare minimum of coverage, if someone walks out or quits (which happens often)managers have to scramble to find someone else, they frequently aren't able to, and then and then someone gets stuck late or you're short handed.
