Pros

it's always busy, the company has an endless supply of money and growing in this awful economy

Cons

there's too many part time employee's, not enough hours to go around. there's no independence, always have a manager over your shoulder.

Pros

Wawa treats its employees well and cultivates a real sense of internal community. A lot of people I met, both at stores and in corporate, had lost track of how long they'd been with the company. People are given work that actually helps the company succeed, and even low level corporate jobs feel important.

Cons

Part of the "Wawa is a family" attitude that gets dicey is when someone really just isn't a good fit for the position they're in, but hasn't really broken any rules. I saw a few instances where an employee wasn't right for their job but stayed in it for a while because managers and HR didn't press the issue.
