Pros

- International culture, startup- like spirit - Steep learning curve, you change tasks and learn new things frequently - Provide good benefits aside from salary ( snacks, tuition reimbursement, pod outings..) - Decent work life balance

Cons

- A lot of changes all the time so if you like something stable, you might not enjoy this - Not always the best transparency from leadership - Sometimes you can expect to work a bit off hours as you need to interact with US colleagues via Slack

Pros

As an intern - ownership and responsibility from the day 1! Constant support of your manager through regular feedback. Friendly team and colleagues eager to jump in and help at any time. As a fast growing environment, there is a need of adaptability and quick action. Continuous business updates from the management team. Even as an intern, I had the opportunity to manage the communication with Director level employees.

Cons

We should look at improving the benefits packages for interns.

Great place to work for some, not all

Pros

There's a huge opportunity for autonomy and personal growth at Wayfair, especially in the EU. The role I joined with has grown and expanded multiple times in my 2+ years here, if you are able to prove yourself, there is no limitations on what you can take on, but you have to be the one driving it. The people are fantastic, very collaborative, and for the most part willing to help out if you ask for it.

Cons

There is a lot of ambiguity, so people that aren't able to push things forward with little direction will struggle here. There is no one to give you step by step directions, so being comfortable in living in the grey area is important. Things can also change quickly with a high growth company, so being adaptable is also very important to being successful at Wayfair.
