Pros

Potential to make a lot of money if you work hard and plan to be there long term career. A lot of potential for growth. Big rewards. Great people.

Cons

Definitely not a 40 hour week job to succeed. Not great internal communication. Base salary should be a little higher.

Pros

Everyone is straight and to the point with you. This is the first time that constructive criticism didn't hurt my feelings. We have really great team leads that know how to cultivate a healthy team dynamic. The training program here is also amazing. Shout-Out to my NHO trainer. I couldn't have gotten through that first month without her. Training with my team lead is also going great. I'm motivated to work harder every single day, and have no doubt that I'll come up to speed with everyone else within the next couple of months. I also love how much support you get in terms of career growth. Waystar makes it clear that you need to work hard for it. However, the resources to get from point A to point B are literally at your fingertips. The best thing for me is that you can literally come from any background or career sector to work here. You just have to be willing to learn something completely new. I'm motivated more than I have ever been to succeed.

Cons

Pay could be more competitive, as well as benefits. Waystar Welcome (very first week in the company) could use a little more work. It was very tiring and jam-packed with too much information (easy to get confused). For example, I had no idea that this program was going to be remote until the night before - it's also great that Waystar sent the tech I needed to set up my home office, but it was a shock when I received all of that at the very last second. In addition, we had been introduced to so many people in such a short amount of time. I forgot their names and wish there was a company-wide organizational chart to reference.
