      Pros

      2 great companies before the merger. Work from home opportunities for some.

      Cons

      New Waystar has completely destroyed 2 great companies. Leadership is horrible, nepotism is the blatant. HR is a joke here, truly unprofessional and unethical. Waystar has decided to remove legacy employees by firing them for performance to save on severance packages. compensation is well below market average. No advancement opportunity, Promises made at merger that all would be rewarded for their hard work, but instead legacy employees are systematically fired or left due to dysfunctional environment.

      Great team members, culture, and flexible work environment.

      Cons

      CEO Tom Butts deteriorate the culture and cause low morale. Brutal lay-offs without advance notice. VPs and C-Suite don't know how to keep talented employees.
