- Management has no idea what they are doing - Promised you can move up within the company, but if you do your job well they won’t promote you - Pay is not very good

We work hard to provide training and support for our people leaders, as this is very important to us. Fuel 50, LinkedIn eLearning, and front-line leadership training are a few examples. In regard to your feedback on pay, Waystar strives to compensate team members fairly. We leverage compensation data, market analysis, and experience as ways to stay current on market trends.

Pros

Nice office with a great view. Some efforts from HR to make you feel valued.

Cons

Poor training, oversaturated "vision" culture without direct leadership support. A myriad of acquisitions have resulted in a jumbled mess of knowledge and resources. It took a long time to get answers to simple questions. Scarce technical documentation. Training was both boring and ineffective. Leadership hadn't figured out how they were going to tackle business problems, and sales reps ended up looking foolish in front of clients/prospectives because of it. Tons of cold calling, way more than you'd expect as AE.
