Pros

Mission driven company, wonderful people and tons of opportunity for learning and development if you seek it out. Great place to be if you can thrive in a fast paced, high energy environment and want to help build from scratch.

Cons

Lack of communication and process across the board. Leadership is constantly changing our high level strategy, which seriously impacts the day to day of the entire company and often leads to reorganization of teams, which can lead to negative team morale. It sometimes feels like ideas are not fully thought out and executed efficiently in a streamlined way. We are a high growth company and the needs of the business change frequently, which doesn't always set employees up for success.

Pros

HQ in NYC is the prettiest open office space you’ll ever work from in your life. I can’t even write free snacks because if you’re jonesing for your mid-day fix of spiced mushroom jerky or chocolate covered chickpeas (because, who ISN’T) you will have to pay for those.

Cons

Everything! You are smart! You are creative! I bet you have so much to offer in your field so please don’t be blinded by shiny objects and throw your career and life away by joining this cult-like, bro-centric, disorganized, sham of a business. I’ve experienced firsthand what I would describe as dozens of questionable company decisions & actions/out of hand MANDATORY company-wide events/unreasonable firings because someone simply does not like your face/extreme favoritism from the top/ borderline narcissistic and preachy speeches (or sermons) from the Executive Team, and so much more in my two years at this company. Judging from the real Glassdoor reviews and the general consensus and morale of my coworkers (the few left standing who haven’t been fired or left to greener pastures), I’m not the only employee who feels the way I do about WeWork- not by a long shot.

Pros

work from home flexibility location flexibility manage your own schedule company perks (coffee, food etc) unlimited PTO (if you can find the time to do it)

Cons

A mess in management and constant organizational change. Overworked without solution to manage work pipeline Overlooked unless if you are part of the in-crowd. Constant reinventing the wheel for the sake of adding value to position without any real change. Management and leadership continually waffle on their goals. So-So compensation for the amount of workload for starting a satellite office.
