Pros

Working at WeWork has been the most rewarding and positive experience for me. Not only are my coworkers supportive and hard working, but the members here are appreciative and a pleasure to work with. The company truly encourages people to do what they love and it is a wonderful platform for creators!

Cons

I have yet to encounter any true negatives at working at WeWork. It is still a growing company and we are all constantly learning and making appropriate changes for the better as we go!

Pros

Community is amazing, awesome members, great people to work with, independently own special projects, empowered by manager to create new initiatives/ plan events

Cons

Long Hours (but they go by fast). With every start-up company, you will have to put in lots of hard work, but if you are doing well it will be recognized and appreciated.

6 Month Review - Doing What I Love

Pros

The culture at WeWork is amazing. If you are looking for a work hard/play hard environment that keeps you excited to come to work everyday this is the place for you. Each department has been focused on landing top talent to head up and lead their teams and we have been extremely successful in doing so. The Executives here come from a variety of top tier organizations and junior team members really have the ability to learn and grow. I have seen numerous employees grow through the ranks based on their accomplishments and not held back by any red tape because of their level (which I have seen at most larger organizations).

Cons

Personally, I don't consider this a con but there will be stressful situations. I think every start-up has growing pains and as we continually to rapidly grow new problems will arise. This is really a benefit to employees as it will help round out your background and let you learn a new skill set, however some people want a more structured organization where processes always run smoothly. I also think it is expected when joining a startup that the hours will not be clearly defined and can be long when there is work that needs to be done. In the past 6 months, the hours have definitely gotten better, and it is nice to know that your team is in it with you and you will be surrounded by great people when you are in the office.
