Pros

Fun, meet tons of people, exposure to so many different people and businesses

Cons

It's a very drink the kool-aid 'we are changing the world' work environment. Only men really get great promotions with few the exceptions, high turn over and building members get sick of new building managers coming in every other month. Lots of complaints from members about heating and cooling and noise levels.

Pros

lot of energetic employees who are so exited about the job and, the companies mission statement. The CEO makes you believe the sky is the limit. People work hard but they do it with passion and love. It's a great place to work if you are a person who likes contributing but can not make a mistake. (unrealistic I know!).

Cons

- You are fired for making a tiny error. CEO always talks about how, "we admit our mistakes and we learn from them" but that's not how other departments are functioning. Specially the HR department. - The retention rate in the HR department is a joke. They have fired 5 - 6 recruiters within the past few months. No warming was given. - You are always feeling unstable and any day might be your last day. If two HR associates sit you down in a room, know it is your last day. - they don't give you a chance to learn from your mistake. - I worked in HR and it was amazing to me how, the CHO was so nice to everyone else but treated her own department like dirt. - She talked down to us, and made us feel like subhuman. You are not allowed to speak at meetings. If you disagree with her, you are fired the next day. - i've seen people who love the company get fired for no reason or for making one little mistake. Instead of giving people guidance and another chance, she would rather have you get you fired. - She wants to be surrounded by people who look like models.

Pros

Amazing parties, a lot of cool/smart people, and pays extremely well

Cons

If you do not 100% buy-into WeWork's "mission" you will not be a culture fit and you life will be miserable. The business model makes absolutely no sense and its a very sexist sales team. Very bro-centric and being a female you are made to feel like an outsider. Very unprofessional working environment...most people are too young to understand that the environment is dysfunctional and not professional as most have been working at WeWork since college. Or one of their relatives works there.
