Pros

Beer? Colleagues. Beer? Coffee. Showers at HQ. Comfy furniture. Good gym discounts. Crappy benefits. Nice bathrooms.

Cons

The management is completely deaf to problems within the company. The entire company has an incredibly high turnover - I've been here nearly a year and have seen at least 1 - 2 people fired per week, sometimes four. I've seen people quit with no warning. The environment is toxic, the lip service paid to "community" is total crap. I think Adam wants to care, but he is so far removed he cannot see how much the company completely sucks. It is sad, really, because WeWork is such a great company for the members. Too bad it treats it's employees like children, has a miserable HR department (the CHRO is crazy and completely fake and toxic), does not support it's employees. It is too bad, it has such potential to be a place where people want to work.

Pros

Nice work spaces. Get to meet lots of interesting people.

Cons

Indifferent, unprofessional and dishonest management. Toxic culture of work all the time attitude but with no reward. Good life experience on how not to treat people. All positive reviews below are from HR department don't be fooled. Anyone, other than the founders, who still works here is just waiting for shares to vest.

Pros

"Culture" is okay. Decent pay, plenty of time off, lots of events and other fun perks.

Cons

If you're a person of color though they fully expect you to be minimal in your expectation or the addressing of equity. Despite their growth, they're happy to leave you at a middling building with almost no support for as long as it serves their purposes. No amount of performance, effort, work, discussion, or other will affect that. Can't shake the feeling of deceit after hearing how the owner talks a great game about how important people are to the company and driving communities forward. Then as they gear up to go public they release a few hundred people with no warning, prior performance issues, or other concerns. They took decent care of everybody but for a company that prides itself on "We", don't forget that they're a business first and foremost, and ultimately you don't matter to them.
