Pros

Free beer, lax atmosphere, ability to have autonomy, some actual great co workers who are not drunk on the kool aid.

Cons

Extreme nepotism - if you're related to one of the founders or executives, you will come in as a VP - regardless lack of knowledge or experience. Extremely chaotic - things change daily on a whim. Cult like following. Questionable hiring and firing practices. High turnover. It's an actual mess. Read the reviews and run.

Pros

-the network you will build every day with members and guests walking through WeWork's doors. -access to high profile events and activities

Cons

Cult: a misplaced or excessive admiration for a particular person or thing. "a cult of personality surrounding the leaders" synonyms: obsession with, fixation on, mania for, passion for, idolization of, devotion to, worship of, veneration of. You are an individual with your own self-identity and expression. WeWork would like you to forget that. WeWork management preys on young, desperate millenials. They lead you to believe that this is the pinnacle of your career. Nowhere is better than WeWork and if you don't assimilate quickly (and I'm not talking standard tech culture in SF kool-aid drinking) I'm talking - you need to buy into 43 hour weeks, 6-9pm meetings where you're not getting paid overtime because you're on salary, panic attacks induced by not putting a chair in the right spot because managers are that petty and strung out, social anxiety in young people who otherwise were healthy before WeWork's toxic culture spread it's disease into their lives. Note: Leaving WeWork was the best thing that ever happened to me. I feel free of Big Brother and the ugly characters that call it's walls home.
