      A culture based business that's quickly losing its culture

      The company, when I was first hired, was very high on employee engagement and open to discuss all aspects of the business. Since the retirements of some head personnel, it appears that the company is heading towards a Corporate structure (Vertical) that an Employee Owned structure (Horizontal). Mismanaging has led to one site being closed down with over 70 losing their jobs, when there was at one time over 300+ people working there. Market plays a key factor in the plant closing but Upper management holds a great deal of responsibility in that as well.

Over the past few years we've implemented new leadership/management training and workflow process improvements to help develop our employees. Our goal is to build an employee owned company that honors our culture and values while creating a path forward for sustainable growth.
