Pros

Good place to get your foot in the door and learn some new things. The people there are nice.

Cons

You will be given more clients than a single account manager should have which makes it hard to really learn about your clients needs enough to make it feel as if you can produce good enough results from them. They host a lot of activities but they are all considered “break time events” which means you will have to stay later than normal if you want to attend them. (You can already plan to stay over your typical 8 hours.) Promotions are based on doing a ton of work outside of you 40 hour work week, not the work you are doing. There is a massive checklist that you have to finish before you get promoted and they don’t consider you for a raise for at least a year (seeing you finish that checklist) They boast about a flexible WFH experience but it’s not that great until you get several years in.

Pros

This was the first place I worked after graduating with a communications degree. I learned a lot from the team here...the bootcamp when you start is challenging but if you get through it you learn a lot. Another thing I liked is the variety of the work, especially once you get clients. There are a lot of clients in many areas and most people don't only work with one type of client. I got to work with huge companies and small companies so it helped develop a lot of different experiences for me. Plenty of neat agency perks like coffee bar with barista, casual dress, fun after hours parties, group activities, etc. The company is growing quickly still so if you are interested there is always room for more responsibility.

Cons

Unless you have clients who are bigger and far away you don't get to travel a ton for work. Parking can be tough on the street cleaning days. There isn't a ton of "on the clock" training once you get past the bootcamp. If you want to develop your skills you are expected to put in time outside of the office to supplement your work.

Cons

-Very "clique" work environment -Specific culture that is cultivated and if one doesn't fit in, they will be weeded out quickly. -Management known to show some favoritism
