None of those events and team trips get counted towards your 8 "productive hours." But, if you don't attend, you are looked down upon for not being a good "team-player". Lunch is also not included in your 8 "productive hours" so if you want to take a lunch break, tack it onto your time for the day. Speaking of time, you have to account for every minute of those 8 hours in a daily log describing what you completed and how how long. On top of this, it is almost a necessity that you take work home and study, read, watch videos in order to keep up with all that they want. Some of this would be understandable if adequately compensated, however, WebFX is absolutely not worth the salary.

i wanted more remote options earlier in my career due to personal situation...i wish they were more flexible early on remote work. some very late/stressful days. pressure from clients varies but can be challenging.
