Underpaying and favoring evergreen employees. Zero Diversity
Pros
Get to work and build relationships with a good portfolio of clients.
Cons
While I had the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and was appreciated for my work on several occasions, I found that conversations around growth, career progression, and long-term planning were often lacking. Promotions seemed more opaque and inconsistent, and in my case, were attributed to broader economic conditions despite continued recognition of my contributions. No doubt the salary range remains the same for this role even today. For those on a visa, I’d recommend extra due diligence. There’s limited internal support for navigating immigration matters. During my interview, I was informed that occasional remote work from my home country would be possible, but when I inquired later, I was told it wasn’t allowed due to tax regulations. I later learned this policy may not be consistently applied across the organization. Remote work flexibility is primarily limited to PTO for international travel, which might be important for those who expect more flexibility.
