Pros

Great culture, management is very involved. Good work life balance depending on what industry you are in. You can tell that Webster cares about it's customers and it is a good environment to work in.

Cons

The only real cons would be the compensation. Being a regional bank doesn't leave much room to be paid that well. Otherwise, the company is great.

Pros

Small enough company that your name will be known if you do well. Good management team, always willing to provide help when you need it.

Cons

Too focused on sales, the only way you get a promotion in retail banking is if you're a great sales person. Extremely outdated systems and equipment. Our computer systems crashed daily, and would often go weeks without being fixed. It's difficult to do our jobs when we're being held back by such atrocious computers.
