Business Outlook
Pros
Small businesses are like family. I loved that I was able to add so many skills to my resume because of Weed Man. I was able to learn payroll, accounting and human resource and I am now able to utilize these skills looking for a new career path. Pros: Monday through Friday, holidays off, smaller business means you’re able to know everyone just a little more, 401k offered after one year, dental benefits rocked.
Cons
The amount of work I was doing as an office lead and the compensation I received were on the opposites sides of the spectrum. Medical benefits were poor, no paid holidays until after 1 year. Turn over rate was high due to several reasons. Zero opportunity for any career advancements especially on the administration side.
