Pros

On Sundays they pay you $8.00, versus the usual $7.25. The cash register program is simple and efficient.

Cons

Not sure if its every Weis, or just mine, but minors can only work 4 hour shifts, so if they give you two days a week, you end up only working 8 hours the entire week. Plus, you need a manager to come and put in his key if you are scanning too many coupons

Pros

the best part about the job is you don't have micro managing going on the 3rd shift as long as you hit your 50 cases per hour nobody bothers you flexible schedule

Cons

management expects a lot out of you for meager pay and never gives more the 32 hours full time will not happen

Pros

Lots of advancement opportunities. If you show interest you will almost always be able to move up somewhere. Some really friendly people. You meet a lot of people if you are transferred a lot. I liked this; you would always see people again.

Cons

Extremely unimpressive executive management. They will not extend for their hand to you let alone listen. A vast amount of productivity is lost preparing for their visits. Customers are rarely a priority because managers know they'll be verbally assaulted if they don't do everything possible to appease their superiors (always random things like a certain display). It's a terribly archaic management structure that leaves most people hating their jobs, or at best, constantly on the look out for a slightly better opportunity. Lower than average pay (you need to be as aggressive as possible when accepting offers - they will take advantage)
