      Pros

      Schedule flexibility is great. People are all friendly, and management is generally friendly and terrific to work with on a day to day basis.

      Cons

      Upper management levels including department specialists and district managers are disrepectful towards employees as well as individual store management. Management at store level is not always respectful of employees. There is not a lot of advertisement for hiring within the company for management opportunities. There are very few opportunities for part time employees to prosper within the company, and there are few opportunities for any employees to be promoted within the company.

      Not a bad choice for your first job. Lifetime job though, not so much.

      Pros

      At my store at least, they are very willing to work with your schedule while you are in school. There's opportunities for personal and career growth if that's what you are looking for.

      Cons

      Sometimes, even though you are legitimately ill they still give you a hard time when you can't make it into work. Also, the overall company itself doesn't care how long you work there. They are cheap.

      You want to know the best reason to work at Weis Markets? To have a job & make some money well when they shedule you hours that is!

      Cons

      The downsides to working at Weis Markets are no hours, non willing to teach you new things & bad attitude from of the managers.
