      Very Flexible Schedule. Lots of Nice People.

      Pay isn't very good. You have to deal with irrate customers from time to time.

      Pros

      It's a job in an economy that has little to offer. The employees below store management, and above cashier, can be like family if you get to know them.

      Cons

      Horrible, horrible upper management. They really believe that they know everything, and will never listen to any one, including the customers. I am embarrassed to tell people I work there, and as soon as I do, I have to endure a barrage of complaints. There has been absolutely no effort whatsoever to address these complaints. Everything is blamed on store level employees. even though we are absolutely powerless. If a Weis employee is nice to you, PLEASE reward them, because they are trying to be nice under severe duress.

      recognition when job well done, ability to move up, great middle management, good people, great atmosphere

      Cons

      low compensation, hard to get rid of dead weight, high turnover, benefits are not great
