      Best practices are the norm; cross-functional teams to promote systematization of hospital related foundations. Local market philosophy in terms of growing major gifts.

      Cons

      Lack of support from C-Suite Leadership; philanthropy not valued as a potential lucrative stream of revenue. Almost little to no opportunity for advancement.

      Other departments have very friendly staff

      Cons

      Transport department is like being in high school. Everyone is gossips, talks trash on each other, etc.. Manager does literally nothing but contribute to this behavior and talks about other department employees in sexual manner. Higher management or HR doesn’t do anything about any of this

      Pays well, good benefits. Good opportunities for growth. If you have a good supervisor you’re okay.

      Cons

      Focus on targets, never rewards employees for hard work, double standards, will burn you out. If your supervisor pushes expectations your life becomes hell.
