It’s not a meritocracy and your contributions will not significantly impact career progression. Instead advancing relies on randomly being in the right division or identity. High performers will be frustrated. The firm lost its edge and is struggling to find a new culture. Clients and results are no longer the focus, internal politics and chasing high fee products are management’s priorities.

Good access to investment research across the front office functions Collaboration is very evident and pervasive throughout Most people are genuinely nice and great to work with Pace of work and culture has become more fast paced over the 2 years with layoffs and "restructuring"

Cons

Progression is relatively slower if you're ambitious Ability to rotate across functions only works for those outside the investment research platform Sales / Product management roles are underpaid compared to broader market for the cultural benefits we get
