Pros

The minute you walk in the doors you will be greeted by friendly faces and people willing to help you out. Wellmark has a strong inclusive culture that goes from the top down. Not only do you get to work with some amazing individuals, you have a company that cares about you as an employee and your voice counts! Wellmark also offers great benefits like tuition/loan reimbursement, Pathways to Wellness Incentives program, a fantastic onsite gym with personal trainers and classes, and much more.

Cons

It would be hard to imagine myself working anywhere else.

Recent senior leaderhip have had substantial changes on culture for the worse Opportunities for advancement are very limited; experience outside the company (or even other parts of the organization) is not valued.

Marketing department was a great place to work.

Pros

The Marketing department itself was a great place to be. The projects I worked on were always different and challenging, and there was always variety to my day. Department leadership respects individuals as contributors and cares about their development. The work is challenging and the environment can be high pressure, but there is always time when things slow down again. The culture of the department itself rewards employee contributions and can be very fun as well.

Cons

The company division leadership above Marketing is perfectionistic and that can unavoidably trickle down to individual projects.
