Bad press surrounding the founder and various other lawsuits hang over the company. Even with the president/founder gone, he was still very close with the CEO so don't expect too many changes. You are basically an extension of the government entities you work for. With that, comes all of the inefficiencies and red tape. Imagine the DMV... Performance reviews are non-existent or not taken seriously. Raises and internal promotions are not generous. There is too much pressure put on staff to meet unrealistic goals, some of which are impossible to meet with current clients. The corporate office itself is somewhat dated despite renovations and is not in a thriving area of town (e.g. old/few restaurants, large homeless population).
