Pros

Good insurance, healthy amount of PTO and management does what they can to foster a healthy work environment.

Cons

Upper management squeezes everything they can of you, spreading you across as much lines of business as possible. No room to grow in my line of business, metrics are tough to meet for annual bonus potential.

Pros

Good pay and benefits Hybrid work environment (great if you live close) Beautiful office Most co-workers were very supportive

Cons

Layoffs are common Although there is an in-office requirement, you may not be co-located with your team so you are commuting to an office to essentially work remotely Executive leadership decides the project schedule without consideration for estimates given by Product teams for resources and timing Stressful due to ambiguity around priorities, constant re-prioritization and unrealistic project timelines.

Pros

Maybe nice people? Kind engineers here and there but you have to dig them out.

Cons

-No support to nurture young talent. -If you can't advocate for yourself you'll likely be left with bad reviews -Biased behaviors towards female members by senior members -Lots of inter influencing and lack of boundaries. - You have to document everything because manager will have certain impression of you at first glance and it might be hard to change if you don't document and have paper trails of your work -Experiences heavily depends on your manager, -communicate with other teams and set your boundary. -Do not let them be wishy washy, go to your 1-1 present your work
