Pros

The company offers decent salary compensation relative to the individual's position and experience. The benefits offered are excellent and cover everything from 401K, legal services, child care, etc.

Cons

Depending on the division you are in, you might find yourself stuck in neutral with your career. Few individuals were ever promoted (and none of the IT division I was in) and little is done to encourage employees to work toward promotion. Because it is a bank change is glacially slow and you cannot expect to utilize the latest technologies, but can expect to use far outdated technologies that will be of little benefit to you if you choose to leave. The workplace environment is often extremely parochial and even childishly petty. Comments and behavior are often at a high school level which you will have to either accept or withdraw from in order to survive long term.

Pros

*Large reputable company w/more potential customers after Wachovia transition *Many Financial Products and Services for employees *Your success rate is what you make of it *401K Matching (Trad and Roth available) *Planned Time Off *Insurance Benefits

Cons

*This sector of Supervisors are picky with the days you request off, even though the days you accrue for time off are yours to use, they may still be declined after requests are forwarded well in advance. *Much is left to be desired after you complete training, once you are out on the floor, you realize many scenarios that you weren't prepared for....you must ask a lot of questions! *No Home Office program
