Pros

Good Hours and a decent salary. The call centers are open 24 hours and I heard that they can pay a little more than in stores due to the weird hours. The job does require a lot of responsibility and you must also be very meticulous, both as a teller and as a personal banker. Bonuses are given, but only if you meet your sales goals for the quarter.

Cons

Too much sales pressure. Sales meetings every week and the pressure never lets up; it seemed to be more important than helping customers. You will also get your fair share of angry customers.

Pros

Competitive benefits, respect for diversity, and employee centric culture. In individual situations, the human resources department will give more power to the employee rather than the manager, which is rare.

Cons

Typical politics are at play here. Banks are very hard to work for if you are a maverick. Just remember you have to conform to the corporate norms in certain ways, and you'll be fine.
