Pros

Maybe Wells Fargo will tell Wachovia Securities that they are in charge now and things will improve for employees and for clients.

Cons

Company uses inefficient decentralized management style where HUB centers full of power control junkies waste time and money creating strife, conflict and chaos. Small to average sized clients are pushed out the door with fee after fee. Big bank attitude removes the caring, personal touch that clients and employees want and deserve. The only reason this firm received the #1 in Client Advocacy Award is A.G. Edwards. They were consistently ranked number one in client satisfaction. The Wachovia Securities nor the Wells Fargo Wealth Management ever appeared, even on the bottom of that list. After the remaining AGE clients and employees leave, so will the recognition award. This company cares more about making money for the people at the top than anything else.

Pros

They actually have good benefits and the pay is decent. Your coworkers become your family (in good and bad ways).

Cons

Too much stress on sales. I don't get paid THAT much to hound customers about little things. Hours are not flexible at current branch, were very flexible at former branch. Manager does not seem to think there is a life outside of work except for herself.

Pros

With recent acquisition, there is significant opportunity to move across different functional groups with the ability to select locations across the country.

Cons

Sometimes you're asked (made) to do what may be right in the 'eyes of others' but what might be right for the workgroup/company.
