Pros

Great work-life balance (lots of people leave the office by 2-3 pm). Very chill bank (can be good and also bad). CIB Risk is certainly more enjoyable than other risk areas IMO given its proximity to the front lines and markets.

Cons

Low pay (at least $20k below market average, even in the Charlotte area). All junior risk analysts must be based out of Charlotte, NC (no choice). Because it is a chill bank, some processes either don't make logistical sense or take forever to implement. If you are from the northeast, you may not be the biggest fan of Charlotte as there isn't much to do and you must have a car while living here. If you are someone who likes to do social activities, you will very quickly get bored of the scene in Charlotte. To get to anywhere in Charlotte, it is a 15-20 minute drive minimum. Avoid driving on I-77 during rush hour cause it's rough.
