Love nursing but working here made me want to find a new profession all together. Too much stress!!

Pros

Like any other hospital job, 3 12 hour shifts per week. Online scheduling and great benefits. Pleasant and approachable doctors/intensivist and night time NPs.

Cons

Understaffed 92% of the time. Most of the time, a heavy patient load for a step-down ICU because ICU RNs had their hands full with their own heavy patient loads and admissions as well. Back breaking work for too little compensation. Forget about calling the Hardstick(Phlebotomy) team for a critical pt's morning labs, they will never show. There is no retention policy, it's a joke! RNs are spread too thin.

Pros

Friendly co workers, friendly environment, great payroll deduction opportunities, tuition reimbursement opportunities, can be flexible at times, online classes with payroll deduction

Cons

Tuition reimbursement is only given to people who are getting an undergrad degree or masters. No options for diploma seeking students. No student loan repayment program.

Lots of benefits at this company. Company has a lot to offer. They also provide tuition reimbursement and CE education

Cons

There is not that much negativity at work so that is great. I enjoy my work so as of now I don't have much cons
