Pros

Fun environment, you can bring your dog or cat. Everyone is just friendly, however don't let that fool.

Cons

This company has the tendency to let people easily. Think twice before you apply.

Pros

Industry leader in on demand translation services and spearheading their deployment to the market. Looking to leverage content in new ways, to new places to create niche markets.

Cons

Over tasked by upper management who hand-off unrealistic expectations. Continual addition of work, without addition of staff. New Hires quickly eclipse foundational team members, the "new kid" syndrom. Foundation staff leaving in droves, letting the new staff ruin the business.

Pros

-When I first started working here, it was alright and I could get my 20+ hours in (back in 2022). They even increased the max hours many times and there was many bonuses for working extra. Then it went downhill. -Bingo is definitely one of the perks of the job. -The work itself can generally be easy if you get the hang of it and don't overthink it (and/only if their rationale make sense). -It's flexible, not *too* mind-numbing compared to some other jobs, and the pay is $15/hr.

Cons

-Steep learning curve. To even apply for the job, you need to read through their 150+ page guidelines and take a test (and no that isn't a random number, it actually has more than 150 pages). -If you rely on this for income, you are constantly worrying whether you will fail to meet their arbitrary quality standards and be suspended or laid off. Like, starting last year, it has become a weekly fear, and every email you get becomes a jump scare. This job has an even higher turnover than when I started, and there have been regular layoff waves. -You feel like you get the hang of it, and then bomb some internal review or they change their rationale for some things, and you no longer feel like you get the hang of it or feel very frustrated bc it doesn't make sense. I feel like it says something, if I feel this way after working there for 3 years!! And remember, this job has a high turnover so most people don't last here more than a year, especially now. -Good luck getting your hours in some weeks. You might be trying to get work and reloading all day, and only get 1-2 hours of time "actually worked" by the end of the day (the time waiting is all unpaid- people have complained to the labor board before bc of this).
