Pros

They're understanding for when you have to miss work. I had to miss six days of work because I had an out of state competition, and no one acted like it was a big deal to miss that much of work. They give you plenty of training before starting work. A manager will help you learn something new on the job and help if you're having trouble. The managers hardly ever yell at someone, and when they do the employee deserved it. In my store, 99% of the customers are friendly and reasonable. I've only had one group of customers who irritated me. The managers and other employees rarely (if ever) say "Go do this", they say "Can you go do this for me?". My store manager is really understanding of employees who are in school.

Cons

I really hate working on the fry station because it's so hard to keep up during rush. With any job, there are days where I just go in the stock room when no one's back there and I actually do need to get something, put my face in my hands, silently scream, and force a happy face. Also with any job in fast food, there are days when you're asked to do several things at once while you know you have several other things to do already. In the summer, we gets lots of business because of travelers on the interstate (that can be a good or bad thing depending on how you look at it). When we get a tour bus, that's always really stressful but we never make them feel like they should go somewhere else.

Pros

Work is not particularly difficult. As with any job, it is what you make it and what your coworkers make it. I, luckily, worked at a great store with mostly great employees.

Cons

As with most jobs in the minimum wage rage, there is no real incentive to work harder. The more work you do, the more work you're given, with the only benefit being a slightly higher pay raise. In the long run, the extra dollar an hour for many more added chores is not worth it to most people, especially the High School and College age employees, which results in many slackers in the environment.
