Pros

Flexible scheduling, 50% employee discount, challenging work when it's busy.

Cons

Office politics, preferential treatment to certain race (half of the store is from the same country, they're immune to disciplinary action, get the best shifts, and sometimes you feel left out when they constantly talking to each other in their native language). When sales are down, management will send people home early on daily basis. They will also reduce the quality of the product to minimize food cost such as mixing more water in the cheese and poutine sauce, changing the oil weekly however dark the oil is. To achieve the service time goal, customers are often rushed and given old products (old fries/potatoes). When you requesting a time off for vacation or other purposes, there is no guarantee to get your hours back.
