      I like my job but there has got to be more out there for me

      Pros

      pays the bills, 5 weeks paid vacation, like a challenge, i really just like managing a business,

      Cons

      no extra money, live paycheck to paycheck, almost never get to take a vacation other than maybe a weekend away once in awhile, frustrating, very demanding, stressful, very expencive insurance that goes up dramatically every year while salary barely moves,

      Frustrating and unrewarding

      Pros

      -Free food after the shift (even though this wasn't technically allowed, everyone did it anyway and the supervisors encouraged it) -Some nice coworkers -Expectations were relatively clear -Hours were pretty good

      Cons

      -It's fast food, so of course the pay is horrible and turnover is enormous -Was often expected to stay long past my shift had ended. Had to stay until the supervisor decided we were finished cleaning, which seemed to depend largely on his mood rather than any objective standard. He would clock out for us, often subtracting 15-30 minutes off the actual time we worked. -Horrible, agonizing training sessions which last the better part of a week at 8 hours a day. You're expected to take in vast amounts of information in a series of overwhelming infodumps and retain it all. Yes, Wendy's is basically a byword for an easy job, but it's a bit frustrating right at the beginning when they throw you out to the sandwich station for the first time and you're expected to recall the correct order of the ingredients for each of a billion different sandwiches with no mistakes or hesitation. -Condescending management.
