Pros

World travel, 401k match, every other Friday off

Cons

Group leaders lack training in leading as do managers are engineers with no people skills. Promotions have nothing to do with how hard you work but more if you fit their mold.

Pros

You will never be fired even through an economic recession Easy work, easy money Good work/life balance Consistent Nice facilities, finally.

Cons

Non competitive salary compared to competitors. Most talent is complacent and lazy. People are hard to work with and have no respect for leadership. Terrible management from top down, minority prejudice. Good old boy club Not diverse. Senior management lacks leadership skills, diversity tolerance (border line racist). Issues are not handled properly, no one has the ability to make tough decision, much less doing the right thing, including the CEO and cofounders. Limited growth opportunities. "If you aren't an engineer you will never equate to anything" mentality.

Pros

Relaxed company with little restrictions on schedule and good atmosphere between employees. Here you can just come to work, get a paycheck and go home. It is easy to coast. No real reprimand if you make a mistake thus making job security very good. Good opportunities to travel.

Cons

If you want a real paying job, this is not the place. Very slow moving. Upper management positions are awarded by time with company, not experience, education, of ability to perform. WesTech has difficulty keeping young talent, so all that is left if mediocre employees, and mediocrity if allowed or encouraged.
