Pros

Challenging work and decent pay all things considered. Benefits are good.

Cons

No opportunity for growth unless you fit a certain type of mold. Only promoted if you have a cost savings project which is really analyst work. Extremely long hours, on call most weekends, and horrible work life balance. Your job must be number one or you’re last in line for upward movement. Severe lack of diversity on the team as well as horrible management due to the oversight on the director level.

Pros

The company was just acquired by Westrock, with all the new locations there are more opportunities to move and grow within the company.

Cons

If you are an hourly employee the point system is something I think is ridiculous. It requires you to be precisely on time when arriving and leaving work. When it was slow I completed my work and helped out other employees in my area, and if I would have left work early I would have received a half a point against me even though I went above and beyond to complete my tasks and to help out my team.
