Horrible uncaring company

Pros

You'll make a lot of money because you have to work 12hour days, six days a week (some times 7 days)

Cons

The company does not see you as a person. You are just an extension of the machine. You can be tossed out like trash after 20 years of service.

Pros

Friendly people, decent management, interesting and mentally challenging work, a lot to learn, a lot to do, safety is a huge priorety

Cons

Recovery boilers smell a little strange (a bit of a sulfur dioxide smell), some of the buildings are quite loud, a couple grumpy old men who hate their jobs always end up working with you, as a female engineer you get talked down to very frequently

Pros

clean rest rooms and safe plant

Cons

Currently muddling through yet another management induced debacle. Hopefully things will improve with the Westrock takeover. They really can't keep these people, can they?
