Some people are nice but not many

Unless you’re on the sales team, you’ll get low pay, horrible benefits, laughable health insurance plans, and a company culture of refusing to change things up and continuing to do what they’ve always done

Thank you for the feedback. Since the acquisition by Imperial Dade almost two years ago, we have continued to increase the breadth and depth of benefits offered to our team members. For example, we recently added maternity/paternity leave, education reimbursement, and company paid short-term disability. We have also been able to continue our tri-annual bonus program, which rewards team members for focusing on continuous improvement through company and personal goal attainment.

Coworkers that’s about nothing positive just a paycheck

Terrible place to work will over work during winter will make you unload entire pallet of icemelt with a manual pallet jack they will and never let you take motorized pallet jack witch causes injury also will make you unload merchandise in unsafe places anything to please the customer no matter what.Also will threaten you with taking the bonus away will brag about how much the company makes but god forbid ask for a raise or safety equipment

At Western Paper, a division of Imperial Dade safety is a priority. In addition to holding weekly safety meetings in each department, we are in the process of installing cameras in our fleet of trucks. Recently additional EPJs and forklifts arrived to our Denver warehouse expanding our tools and equipment. I agree that ice melt is a heavy product and delivering it in the winter can be a challenge. Drivers with this on their truck should be using one of our available EPJs to assist which is discussed durning training and the Transportation team meetings.

They do a lot of training.

The pay is below standard for roles in this area. They have not made any adjustments to our salaries for inflation. The vice president said they'd be looking at this but I think that was just to deflect the pressure they were getting as nothing ever happened.

We also look at compensation as whole such as the new benefits offerings that were just rolled out including paid education reimbursement of up to $5,250 per year.
