If you can avoid upper management, life’s pretty good. People I work with on a daily basis are great; upper management is best avoided; they’re all “yes-men” to the current unit manager.

Cons

Unit manager basically tries to ignore any problem, and hopes it goes away. Let’s not forget how this affects accountability; unit manager doesn’t care until it affects his bottom line.
