      Pros

      Remote first company done right! Even while being thousands of miles away from headquarters, Whatnot's culture and processes make it truly feel like you are right there with the rest of the team, regardless of physical location. It's great to be employed by a company that values the person and their work ethic, while not requiring you to upheave your personal life just to be close to HQ. Company culture is amazing! It truly feels like we are part of something groundbreaking and revolutionary. My thoughts feel hard and my work feels impactful.

      Cons

      Work life balance is always going to be a challenge in high growth startups but thankfully this con is outweighed by the fact that I actually enjoy the work I do.

      It's all about the people and I'm super grateful that I get to work with such a high caliber and diverse group of folks each day. Culture is very difficult to scale, but the leadership has done an amazing job of making sure this has been in tact since Day 1 by living + breathing the shared values / principles of the company and keeping the bar high across the board. Benefits are bar none and everyone has a stake in the company which really emphasizes an ownership mentality.

      Cons

      Work / Life balance can be sometimes difficult to manage as folks are really motivated to drive impact and go all in. The company does strive to keep a good balance here with constant feedback from teams.
