The company is shockingly disorganized and managers fly by the seat of their pants. Expect massive initiatives and or strategic changes at the last minute. Expect contradictory statements from key decision makers.
The job descriptions are lies to get you excited/ in the door. Almost no one actually does the job they thought they signed up for.
You will work weekends and all hours of the day. Slack messages come in 24/7. Don't say to yourself, "Oh, it might not be that bad." If you are looking for any sort of work life balance, don't apply here.
The CEO/upper management is detached. The top 2-5 execs have no idea what it's like for the average employee and have little knowledge of how things actually get done day to day. They spoon feed positive messages and investor talking points during company calls, when everyone knows there are a lot of issues.
A couple key decision makers make all the decisions without any insight or thoughts from other managers/leaders/employees in the company. There is a lack of transparency/ lack of access between key decision makers and employees that almost seems impossible for a company of its size.
