-You get to work with a lot of different personalities -You can find people that you enjoy working with -A lot of people can and will be supportive of you
Cons
-Depending on where you work, the office may be more hostile or stiff than others -There are still some people who act like it's the 80s -I've been harassed (verbally) many times by a senior and feel as though I can't do anything about it without causing a scene because he is supposed to be who we go to in our region for EEO Concerns -Senior management plays favorites
