Pros

Good health insurance You will learn a lot You will be noticed at the assigned job site You will have responsibilities (that’s pro and con)

Cons

Compared to work, pay is not enough Field engineers are overworked than project engineers Nepotism. Minimum 10 hours shift. Weekend work Night shift Very stressful (it also makes you more productive) It’s a very demanding job. You will have to open the site early around 5 6 depending on the job. No matter the weather, you will be on site. So take it as you will. If the project manager and superintendent are cheap, get ready to unload deliveries and clean up.
