Pros

Our clients hire us because we are experts in our field and because they expect work products and testimony that will hold up under relentless scrutiny by the opposing side. To maintain our reputation requires effort, attention to detail, and team cohesiveness at all levels. I appreciate working alongside people with a shared commitment to the team and who are always willing to help out wherever necessary. I enjoy having managers I like at the personal level, and respect at the professional level. Further, I know unequivocally management is always in my corner and looking out for the good of the team. Finding bosses who genuinely care about their team is rare and an organization I am lucky to be a part of.

Cons

The VPN could use some refinement.

Pros

Whitley Penn has a great network of employees. Especially as a first job I enjoy the collaboration amongst my team even throughout positions, there is little to no hierarchal stereotypes.

Cons

As my first job, there are adjustments that take place when transitioning to the workforce and a working environment but here at WP I have no complaints!

Pros

Our department has a hybrid work schedule. WP pays 100% for our health insurance. We have a gym in the building and they offer a trainer twice a week for unlimited use. We have two kitchens fully loaded with snacks and drinks for employees. We have several out of the office fun events annually in addition to our department lunches and happy hours. Our department is small so it allows the management team to take the time to get to know you individually so you are not just an employee number. I feel like I am treated like a valued person that contributes to the group as a whole. If you apply yourself, you will absolutely grow and the management team will encourage your growth every step of the way. The Partner of our group truly cares about the well being and future of the department and always has an open door policy that welcomes suggestions or ideas to improve the success of our group! I LOVE that I am not micromanaged and I love the flexibility. To sum it up the Partner and Managers have always been wonderful to me. I enjoy working here.

Cons

The only con I have is my commute but that is of no fault of Whitley Penn.
