The Best Place I Have Worked
Pros
Whitley Penn is far and away the best company I have worked for during my career in marketing. The culture is outstanding. In many companies there is a good amount of gossip among teams, but that is truly nonexistent in my experience here. In addition, I have met and worked with a number of Partners and Senior Managers and they have all been kind, respectful, professional, and humble. In terms of workload, we are challenged with big projects but given ample time to complete them and endless support from managers and everyone else on the team. Managers are very encouraging. There is a big emphasis on doing the best job possible while growing in your role, but also maintaining a work-life balance. Overall, a wonderful firm with a great culture, and I am proud to work here.
Cons
The offices use white noise machines to cancel out general office sounds (typing, etc). This makes the offices pretty quiet - a bit like the focus floor of a college library. I personally find it good for concentrating/getting work done but I can see how it might be a bit too quiet for some.
